The name "eimi" comes from the Chin language, meaning "For All People". This simple phrase captures our entire philosophy.

Our core mission is to bridge the digital divide, ensuring that cultural heritage is preserved and that no one is left behind in the digital age simply because their mother tongue is not recognized by major technology companies.

The Challenge We Face

Big tech companies like Google often do not support smaller languages because the user populations are too small to be economically profitable. This creates a devastating digital divide.

Without digital tools in their language, communities are forced to leave their culture behind to participate in modern education, healthcare, and the digital economy. Entire generations risk losing their linguistic heritage simply to access basic services.

At eimiAI, we are often asked: "Why do you use the Bible to train your AI models?" While it holds deep spiritual significance, our decision is primarily driven by three critical technical factors essential for Machine Learning in low-resource languages.

AI requires "Parallel Data"—the same sentence in two languages. For many unrecognized languages, the Bible is the only rigorously translated, peer-reviewed, and digitized text available, providing the high-quality "ground truth" data needed to train a neural network effectively.

To offer expert advice, AI must grasp complex grammar and abstract concepts. Conversational data is too simple.
